Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Metal detectors or dogs are mainly used to detect landmines. However, these methods have many problems on reliability, therefore, a more efficient landmine detection technique is desired. In this study, we paid attention to TNT molecules, which are leaking from landmines with low concentrations in the soil or air. Using SPR sensor and antigen-antibody reaction, we attempted to detect TNT molecules with higher sensitivity. As a result, we detected TNT from 0.1 ppb to 10 ppm using displacement methods.
