Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We report experiments of irradiating laser during organic thin film deposition. In the case of Alq3, it was found that uniaxial alignment of needle-shaped domains along the polarization of the laser if the polarization is parallel to one of the original orientation axes. We consider that the mechanism is related to the stabilization of polar structure of microcrystals of Alq3 induced by directional photoconductivity. It is expected that this technique is useful to obtain highly ordered organic thin films.
