Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This study is about performance evaluation of tracking algorithm using measurements from radar and optical sensor. A radar measurement consists of range, angle and radial velocity and a optical sensor measurement consists of only angle. However the angle measurements of optical sensor is more accurate than that of radar. Tracking performance can by expected which can not obtained using single sensors, by fusion of these heterogeneous sensors. We compare two sensor fusion algorithm, in track level and sensor level by simulation. As the result of simulation we show that sensor fusion in observation level is superior to that in track level.
