Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes the design and applications of the 100-300 kg class satellite standard bus developed by MHI in order to meet the recent increasing demand for fast space demonstration opportunities at low cost. Each subsystem design is introduced with focusing the measures to make the standard bus more flexible and cheaper by following the design concepts in the MHI satellite standard bus development. As the first application of the MHI satellite standard bus, demonstrations of On-Orbit Servicing and Corona Observation planned by NICT, and Optical inter-satellite communication planned by NeLS are also introduced.
