Abstract(in English) | This paper presents a single-chip CMOS magnetic rotary encoder system based on magnetic pattern analysis. A rotary encoder chip using magnetic sensor arrays integrated with ADCs and digital signal processing circuits is fabricated with a standard 0.25μm CMOS technology. The chip can detect the rotation angle within the error of ± 0.36 degrees (10b per rotation). |
