Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The Software Defined Radio (SDR) can realize one unique hardware platform for various communication protocols. By downloading different software, a terminal can be used in different country or for different services. There are two basic approaches for SDR terminal development. The one is Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) based approach and the other is Digital Signal Processor (DSP) based approach. Since the FPGA based approach needs real circuit design for constructing the FPGA data and it is difficult to make best use of future LSI high frequency performance, we are developing DSP based SDR platform. In this paper, we will report the coarse radio frequency error detection algorithm for the OFDM reception system targeting fully C-software based SDR platform.
