Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to measure shapes and positions of transferred pip on contact surface, we operated the Ag/CdO12wt% contacts in DC42V-5A resistive circuit as make-only contacts, and took photographs of transferred pip formed on cathode surface from two direction. The following results were obtained by this experiment. (1)In case of movable cathodic contact, the pip is kike a circular cone, which is formed on a position where moved forward a little from center of the contact, and its top moves to the interior whenever operating numbers. (2)In case of movable anodic contact, the pip whose shape looks oval is formed on a position where moved forward a little from center of contact, and it top stay in the first place. In this result, it is thought that material transfer concentrates a position where moved forward a little from center.
