Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the performance of mobile phones has improved remarkably, and they become popular and are widely used in various fields. In health promotion, various services have been developed for home-based users to easily communicate with sports doctors or exercise trainers via the networks. However, current services are depending on individual facilities, e.g., PCs, PDAs, and mobile phones, and therefore, users cannot take advantage of these services conveniently. In this paper, we present a health promotion system by using mobile phones embedded with Java runtime environment. To eliminate individual differences in understanding of the information display, the system, as a biosignal browsing application, emphasized the development of different customization functions of display items.
