Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, various researches on the visual perception have been studied to solve the mechanism to transmit a variety of information from the external world to the brain. Focus is attended to studies of the visual perception phenomenon by visual stimulation with jittering object. Five stimulation images on which a jittering object and the background pattern are displayed are presented, and in that case the EEG (electroencephalogram) and the EOG (electrooculogram) of the subject are measured. The α wave was extracted from the measured the EEG and the change of the waveform was investigated. As a result, wavy asymmetry of the α wave was observed at the symmetrical part in left hemisphere and right hemisphere of the brain. The cause was discussed by using the waveform of the α wave and the EOG.
