Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of this research is to construct a system which models understanding levels of others based on their utterances in collaborative learning environment. It is often observed that the learner looks for the person with knowledge which the learner has not acquired sufficiently and the learner focuses on the action/reaction of the particular person. Therefore, in order to determine a target person, understanding levels of other learners are modeled from a viewpoint of the learner. In the collaborative learning environment, a learner does not always utter toward all of knowledge about exercises that he understands. We investigate a mechanism for estimating understanding levels of other learners from their utterances and the student-view model which consists of solution steps, understanding levels, and trust levels. In this paper, the relations between knowledge in exercise are constructed as Bayesian Network. With this network, the understanding levels about all the knowledge can be estimated even if the learner did not utter the most of knowledge.
