Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, the authors have developed a system to inform teachers of real-time learning situations encountered in the classroom and to help them provide support for students (novice programmers) with common problems. This system has two functions; the first function is a program animation function which keeps a historical record of the students' operations, and analyses it and provides the causes for common problem points to teachers. The second function is a compile-error support function which keeps a historical record of the students' errors, and analyses it and informs the teachers about the relationship between the errors and the source codes. This system can be expected to provide teachers full support and real-time solutions to common problems faced by students.
