Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For the purpose of supporting teachers to create web teaching materials without difficulty, a new web-based authoring system was developed. This system can be operated on a web browser, and consists of three subsystems: Editor for teaching-materials development, Book for teaching-materials display, and Analyzer for study-log analysis. By using this system, web teaching materials which combine description, exercise and test can be easily created without the knowledge of instructional design and programming languages such as XML and CGI. The features of this system are: (1)Various problem types, such as multiple choice, true or false, fill in the blank, and matching item can be chosen. (2)The number, order, and reply time limit can be freely set up. (3)The design template which displays teaching materials is implemented.
