Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Although remote education using the Internet is developing at good pace, maintaining long-term student motivation remains an important challenge. To address this difficulty, we are developing a system which uses animation to present lesson contents and assignment problems. We use Flash animation along with regular text explanations to give students a more complete presentation of course subject matter. To enhance understanding, students can cross-reference both text and animated explanations. We found that this provided a more enriching learning experience, and promoted individual student motivation.
