| Abstract(in English) | MeP(Media embedded Processor) which is integrated into SoCs of digital consumer products and digital communication products is introduced. MeP is a configurable processor of which configurations can be changed for a specific target application. Furthermore, optimized custom instructions and hardware engines can be added to the MeP processor core. We propose the digital media SoC development using customizable processor core. In this paper, MeP architecture and MeP SoC examples are introduced. |
