Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In some application on Dynamically Reconfigurable Processor (DRP), the input/output of data stream occupies 20% of total execution time. In order to hide the overhead of input/output, the I/O context is separated from computational contexts and execuited in parallel. There are two alternatives for executing parallel processing with multiple DRP blocks: one is the pipeline execution with moving the data and the other is independent parallel processing with changing the configuration data. Trad-off between two methods are discussed. From the result, with the current structure, the pipeline execution with moving the data is appeared to be advantageous.
