Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper discusses the effect of sheet resistance of EM noise suppressor made of magnetic thin film based on experiments and FEM electromagnetic field simulation. Non-magnetic Al-O and ferromagnetic Co-Al-O films with sheet resistance of 10^<-1>~10^5 were deposited and put on to the microstrip line. It was revealed that power loss of microstrip line has maximum value at the specific sheet resistance. At 6GHz, the measured maximum power loss ratios were 0.97 (200Ω/□) for Al-O film, and 0.96 (100Ω/□) for Co-Al-O film while simulated value were 0.95 (400Ω/□) for Al-O film and 0.97 (100Ω/□) for Co-Al-O films. The role of sheet resistance for power losses ware examined based on the distribution of electromagnetic field in the simulation.
