Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We would like to introduce EMI filtering solution, which is matched characteristic impedance between transmission line and EMl filter, for HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface). Conventional interface such as USB did not require impedance matching between transmission line and EMI filter, because conventional interface transmitted low speed relatively. Although HDMI transmit high speed, which is up to 1.65Gbps, so impedance mismatching gets attenuate harmonic and distorts waveform. So HDMI require EMI filter that matched characteristic impedance with transmission line.
