Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Due to the diversity and rapid change of network technologies and application programs, it is getting difficult to provide comfortable network services to users. To address this difficulty, we have proposed and developed a network middleware named Communication Service Concierge (CSC). CSC resolves the difficulty by using the Component Oriented Programming approach. Using Java, we implemented CSC on Open Services Gateway initiative (OSGi) service platforms, which provide dynamic executions of the software components locally. In other words, CSC provides a distributed agent computing feature for OSGi. In this paper we describe relationship between CSC and OSGi. Moreover we describe the requirements of security functions for CSC and implementations of it.
