Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As an effective means of improving performance and function of the packet forwarding node in a network, we propose a composition that separates a node into forwarding and control processing. In this paper, enhancing the composition which is based on router processing, we apply this composition to complicated stateful packet filtering process and discuss the effect and subject. Moreover, we divide stateful packet filtering process into the two portions that depend on protocol state and that depend on packet-by-packet process, then point out the architecture which can effectively handle various packet forwarding.
