| 抄録(和) | 今後インターネット上で急速な需要増加が予測されるマルチメディアトラヒックの様々な属性に適した伝送を実現する一つの手段として, インターネットルータに高度なQoS制御機構を具備することが考えられる.これに対し, 筆者らは, フロー管理による出力バッファ制御機構を提案しており, その基本実装を完了している.本稿では, 所望の固定帯域割り当てを可能とするスケジューリング機構の導入を行い, 本制御機構を搭載したスイッチ機器の設計・試作, ならびに実ネットワーク環境を想定した実験的評価を行う. |
| 抄録(英) | With the rapid increase of the traffic demand in the Internet, it is necessary to provide a priority control mechanism in the Internet router in order to realize transmission suitable for various attributes of multimedia traffic. So far, we have proposed and implemented the output buffer control mechanism by flow management. In this paper, the scheduling mechanism which enables the fixed bandwidth allocation is introduced. In addition, the switch equipped with this control mechanism is designed and carried out trial production, and the prototype switch is experimentally evaluated assuming the real network environment. |
