Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, as the progress of semiconductor technology and wireless communication, RFID (Radio frequency Identification) tags have been widely introduced instead of barcodes, which can be identified automatically with no-contact readers. An RFID tag is composed of an antenna, transceiver and transponder and is also called a wireless IC tag or electronic tag. This paper presents the Food Purchasing Support System. In this system, the users can know the contents components of the foods with PDA by checking the WWW server and database, whether the allergy components are included or not. If the allergy components are included in the foods, they receive the alarm information. By constructing the prototype experimental system, the effectiveness of the new system is confirmed.
