Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In present mobile communications, hand-over may often cause packet loss andre-ordering. In case of multicast this can be a serious problem, as lost UDP packets are not retransmitted. This is also the reason of considerable deterioration of quality in video streaming services. This paper is considering a method of avoiding packet loss. It is based on existing HMIPv6(Hierarchical Mobile IPv6)+FMIPv6(Fast Handover for Mobile IPv6) methods. The complete extermination of packet loss is implemented through providing abilities to transmit packets to intermidiate router (Mobility Anchor Point: MAP), buffer them, and control multicast groups.
