Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We pay attention to multi-paths method for contention resolution in Optical Burst Switching(OBS) Networks. The multi-paths method reduces loss rate but increases forwarding delay of optical bursts. We propose a traffic distribution method to minimize the average forwarding delay while satisfying a given restriction for loss rate of optical bursts. In this paper, the proposed method to decide traffic distribution ratio to multi-paths is explained and simulation results are shown to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
