| 抄録(和) | 無線インフラの整備とモバイル端末の普及に伴い、ユーザがインターネットにアクセスする環境も多様化し、モバイル・インターネットが構築されつつある。このモバイル・インターネット環境では、有線や無線に拘らず異なるネットワーク間をシームレスに移動できることが重要となる。本稿では、最初に、オーバレイ・ネットワーク・モデルにおいて着目すべき特徴を明確にし、シームレスなネットワーク間の移動を実現するためのMobile IP Registration手順に対する拡張を提案している。また、モバイル端末がネットワーク間を移動した際に、移動の前後で通信帯域や遅延等のネットワーク特性に大きな差がある場合には、受信するIPパケットの順序逆転が大きな問題となることを明確にし、提案するMobile IP Registration手順に対する拡張を検討・評価している。 |
| 抄録(英) | Recent advances in wireless technologies and popularization of mobile terminals allow users to connect to the Internet by way of diverse means, and have introduced the mobile computing. In the mobile computing, it is important for users to seamlessly move between different networks without being aware of those networks. In this paper, we clarify the characteristics of overlaid mobile networks and propose mechanisms to allow users to seamlessly move between different networks. And we present the problem of out-of sequence packets when a mobile node moves from one network with low bandwidth and large delay to another network with high bandwidth and small delay, with its solution. |
