Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recent advances in wireless technologies and popularization of mobile terminals allow users to connect to the Internet by way of diverse means, and have introduced the mobile computing. In the mobile computing, it is important for users to seamlessly move between different networks without being aware of those networks. In this paper, we clarify the characteristics of overlaid mobile networks and propose mechanisms to allow users to seamlessly move between different networks. And we present the problem of out-of sequence packets when a mobile node moves from one network with low bandwidth and large delay to another network with high bandwidth and small delay, with its solution.
