Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a scalable QOS-fairness control architecture applicable for best-effort packet forwarding networks which conform to the core-edge model. In this architecture, QOS-fairness among sender users is archived by per-user scheduling in the ingress edge nodes. On the other hand, QOS-fairness among receiver users is achieved by selective back pressure control from the egress edge nodes to the ingress edge nodes. Furthermore, both QOS-differentiation among QOS classes and QOS-fairness in each QOS class can be simultaneously achieved by combining the proposed architecture with the DiffServ-based QOS control architecture. Since this architecture does not require per-flow scheduling in any core node to connect edge nodes with each other, it can be applicable even for large-scale networks.
