Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Keyword spice method proposed by Kokubo et al. for building domain-specific web search engine is a good approach which shows high precision and recall. However, in order to extract a keyword spice which dis-tinguishes a specific domain, the approach needs to create by human a training set which consists of 2,000 Web pages, and it requires a great deal of time. In this paper, we propose a new approach for generating a high-precision training set semi-automatically by refining Web pages collected from a directory-type search engine. The experimental results show that a keyword spice generated by our approach achieves a good performance comparable as a handmade one.
