Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposed a method to apply BPCS-Steganography to the reversible information hiding that is able to completely recover cover images from stego-images. Blocks on bit-planes of cover images are classified into three groups, which are denoted by L(eft), R(ight) and U(nusable). We use blocks belonging to L and R group for the embedding and assign a bit information to it. The conjugate operation can change the attribution of blocks from L to R and R to L. The original block can be completely recovered by applying the conjugate operation twice. In the embedding procedure, the bit sequence of the block attribution of L and R group is also embedded as a part of secret data. In the extraction procedure, we can extract block attribution as a bit sequence, then split it into secret data and the original block attribution. The original cover image can be recovered from the stego-image by changing attribution of blocks using the embedded original block attribution.
