Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We discovered that sense of brilliant in the original image was lost by digital processing for improvement of SNR by a granular noise reduction to be used often for some time. It is a discovery that only a few pixels to be removed as an isolation point greatly affected for sense of brilliant. Then, we found by experiment on subjective assessment (in seven stage evaluation) that the presences of isolation point group affect sense of brilliant. As a result, sense of brilliant deteriorated about "-2" through a reduction of isolation point, and improved about "+1" through an addition of isolation point in be watched part of image for evaluation of "Sense of brilliant" reappearance though number of isolation point was about 5.4% in total pixel.
