| 抄録(英) | This paper describes an attempt to transform 3-D model a person's face to give a more favorable impression. Faces are first represented as high-dimensional vectors by separating the shape and surface texture information from the 3-D data obtained by a range finder, and their variations among a set of faces are coded by applying principal component analysis. The relationship between the coded representation and its categorization between two opposing classes in a given impression dimension is analyzed to obtain an impression transfer vector by applying the Fisher's linear discriminant analysis. A manipulation of the 3-D face model for transforming impressions is proposed using the impression transfer vector. Experimental results for transforming impressions of the gender showed effectiveness of proposed method. |
