Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To expand service areas of a future satellite communication network, this paper proposes a simple configuration and the low coupling gap-filler which re-transmits the signals in the same frequency as received. To prevent the signal divergence caused by the strong coupling between the receiving and transmitting antennas, this gap-filler adopts two transmitting antennas, and the transmitting antennas form a null toward the receiving antenna direction by controlling amplitude and phase of one transmitting antenna appropriately. Results of simulations and outdoor experiments show that the proposed gap-filler realizes the large suppression of coupling and is feasible.
