A Study on Low-Density Parity-Check Codes for Land Mobile Radio

Abstract(in English) In this work, we study the performances of new kind of forward error correction techniques, the low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes, for the land mobile satellite communications. The objective is to apply the LDPC codes to communication systems that allow reliable transmission over the mobile satellite communication channels. Computer simulation results are presented for the LDPC codes. Significant advantages for reliable transmission provided by the LDPC codes are analyzed over the land mobile satellite communications.
