Abstract(in English) This paper mainly deals with the Passive Intermodulation characteristics in satellite payload system which are produced at junctions between materials in a device, such as waveguide joints (similar materials) and tuning screws and manufacture of the device in order to minimize junction irregularities. The PIM production mechanism is such that if one product of a given order is created, then the order products will also be present ; it is therefore necessary only to test for specific product. Through computer simulation, it is proved that the SATCOM system shows less performance degradation by PIM than any other parameters. In this paper, PIM order is calculated and system performance degradation results occurred by PIM are described.
