Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, it was reported that In deposition onto the Si(111)-(7×7) reconstruction under suitable conditions resulted in the formation of ordered In nanocluster array structure. Such ordered metal nanocluster array structure is promising material for ultra-high density recording and nanocatalysis etc. In this paper, we report that Sb adsorption onto In nanocluster formed on the Si(111)-(7×7) result in the formation of new nanoclusters which have the same structure as In nanocluster and contain Sb atoms as components.
