| Abstract(in English) | We propose a novel method to improve the efficiency of search on personal documents stored in a user PC. The implementation of the proposed method is called Personal Data Mining System. The improvement of search logics and personalization of search results are needed. Here we focus on the user information needs and the use of user appraisals. The search logics provide keyword suggestions, conceptual search and file similarities, while the personalization functions support filtering and abstraction of the search results. We also perform an evaluation on the efficiency of user searches. |
