Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Since access load balnace has significant impact on the performance of parallel storages, online access skew handling is essential to organize practical parallel data storage system in large scale. We had proposed a scalable dynamic access skew handling technique which executes load evaluation, calculating a new data placement, and data migration in parallel. In this paper, we show an implementation of skew handling mechanism with parallel data migration. We also discuss the effectiveness of this method.
