Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The development of coastal acoustic tomography is carried out as a long term measurement technique to get shallow water information. Since the sound is propagated with reflection at sea bed and sea surface, it is important to estimate the characteristics of the shallow water. In this report, we investigated the characteristic of the propagating sound wave using data of reciprocal acoustic transmission experiment in Mito Bay. The bottom and surface reflected wave were used to estimate the travel time difference. We got the acoustic characteristics of reciprocal transmission signals that are useful for measurement in shallow water with a high degree of accuracy.
