Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Rapid wireless communication is increasingly demanded. Anticipated as a technology that allows high-speed, wireless communication is ultra-wide band (UWB). Two or more modulation methods are proposed for UWB now. Clarification of respective characteristics has become an important obstacle for practical use in the future. Moreover, artificial vision is rated as an example of applying UWB. The developed artificial vision is of the cable type : a wireless type is not envisioned now. However, artificial vision is inferred to require wireless operation for convenience. This study clarifies the desirability of use of MATLAB/Simulink, and of suitable modulation methods for artificial vision by UWB. Moreover, this study is intended to show the effectiveness of a wireless transmission type artificial vision system using UWB.
