Abstract(in English) | Recently, Multi-band OFDM(MB-OFDM) is actively investigated as a modulation scheme in UWB. The performance of OFDM modulation is very sesiteive to frequency offset. MB-OFDM uses frequency hopping and frequency offset may easily occurs. There are many frequency offset compensation schemes. However, UWB is expected to be installed on various electronics devices because of its low power consumption. Therefore, it is impossible to implement complex signal processing. In this report, a novel frequency offset compensation scheme by frequency spreading is proposed and its performance is evaluated through computer simulation. |
