Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) PSAM (Pilot Symbol Assisted Modulation) is reported as one of the well-known methods where the fading distortion is effectively compensated even in mobile communications. However, this technique basically considers the flat fading, not the multi-path fading. In this paper, we enhance the PSAM using FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) to multi-path fading compensation method. Moreover, we examined the adaptive compensation method to improve the estimation efficiency and the compensation performance, by estimating the fading rate and number of multi-path using pilot symbols. As a result, the bit error rate performance for the channel where the number of delay wave change at random is improved.
