Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes basic characteristics of a quarter-wavelength resonator with distributed tap-coupling structure and application to a bandpass filter (BPF) with transmission zeros. In this study, we made comparative study of basic characteristics of the proposed resonator with the characteristics of the resonator with lumped-element tap-coupling structure. And then, realization and independent control of transmission zeros by the BPFs using the proposed resonators are also examined. The design of proposed BPF becomes possible by using the design methodology with narrow-band approximation, and it is confirmed theoretically that control of number of transmission zeros, the arrangement position, and the independent control of transmission zeros are possible.
