Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For improvement of electromagnetic (EM) environment of the millimeter-wave band media converter used for the car radar at 60GHz, the lid with wave absorption capability is attached at nearby to the substrate. In the case of lid or lid with metal back-layer, and lid thickness changed various electric power are analyzed by the FDTD method, and noise suppression effect for near-field is examined. As a result, it has been clarified that the reflection electric power to the inside of substrate and the radiation electric power to the outside are greatly suppressed by using the metal back-layer with lid of the thickness designed for plane wave. Moreover, it has been also obtained quantitatively that the decreasing their power are greatly influenced by loss electric power of the lid. Then, it has been confirmed that EM environment of the millimeter-wave band media converter is improved employing the presented method.
