Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, the spread of the wireless LAN, which can connect to a network easily, is expanded. IEEE802.11b, which is a wireless LAN standard, has spread most now. The fundamental access method of the IEEE 802.11b MAC is a DCF known as CSMA/CA. This method is premised on the collision of a packet, and in accommodating many users, a whole throughput reduction become a problem, such as the unfair opportunity of the communication of a terminal. In this paper, the system using SDMA by the adaptive array antenna in an IEEE802.11b base station is proposed. In the proposed system, it transmits simultaneously 2 terminals by using the dynamic antenna directivity control by the adaptive array antenna, and a throughput can be increased. Moreover, the validity was evaluated by simulation.
