Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The Block-Spread CDMA (BS/CDMA) system has received much attention as enabling CCI-free transmission even under the multi-path environment. But, it needs to insert some guard interval chips to each spread block in the transmit signal frame, resulting in the transmission efficiency decrease. To solve the problem, we proposed an efficient system, called Frequency Interleaved multiplexing Block-Spread CDMA (FIBS/CDMA) system, which needs the guard chips only to one part of total blocks. Although the system is CCI-free, there occurs interference on each data block as in the existing systems, and its degree depends on a method of the transform from data block to spread block. In this paper, data block transform methods, and relations between the transform block size and the BER, and a pilot block transform method for channel estimation, are examined and compared. An effective transform method is shown with computer simulation results.
