Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Euro Electromagnetics (EUROEM) 2004 was held in Magdeburg, Germany, through July 12 to 16, 2004. It consisted of the three relevant conferences: the 14th High Power Electromagnetics Conference (HPEM 14), the 7th Conference on Ultra-Wideband Short-Pulse Electromagnetics (UWB SP7), and the 7th Unexploded Ordnance Detection and Range Remediation Conference (UXO'). Approximately 400 papers submitted from more than 40 countries were presented on the subjects of high power as well as low power electromagnetics, ultra wideband technologies, and their applications. This brief review outlines the three conferences and introduces some aspects of wideband technologies other than the spread spectrum theory and its applications.
