Abstract(in English) It is becoming more and more significant to preserve dependability of IT systems (conglomerates of huge numbers of computers and the internet), as they have been taking a central part in the modern society. Here, we define "dependability" as complex of reliability, security, usability, robustness and extensibility. This reports the JST CREST Project "Dependable Information Processing Systems" which the author leads.
