Error recovery method for block-sorting compression

Abstract(in English) Block-sorting compression has been practical because of improvement of microprocessors recently. This paper proposes error recovery method for block-sorting compression. This method applies error recovery procedure to three steps of block-sorting compression. Computer simulation says that the compression ratio of the proposed method is about 10 percents worse than that of ordinary block-sorting compression and that this can restrict the ratio of the erroneous decoded data to the block size within 33 percents.
