| 抄録(和) | 弊社は「世界とともにある企業」、「社会から必要とされる企業」を社是として、自動車部品、電線やガス、空調機器等の製品を提供している。この理念のもと福祉情報機器の開発にも取り組んでおり、現在視覚障害者向け「点字キーボード」の製品開発を進めている。37個のキーを有し、うち点字を構成する6点に対応した点字キーを中心に文字入力が行え、点字タイプライターを利用する感覚でパソコンを使用することが可能である。また、本キーボードは標準的なUSB仕様に準拠しており、既に市販されているスクリーンリーダや点字編集ソフトウェアをそのまま利用する事が可能である。 |
| 抄録(英) | YAZAKI, whose corporate policies are "a corporation in step with the world" and "a corporation needed by society", has been providing automotive components, electrical wires, and other products such as gas appliances and air-conditioning equipment. Under these company spirits, YAZAKI has also been working on the development of welfare information devices. A braille keyboard for visually-impaired people is one of our current development items. This keyboard has 37 keys. 6 out of 37 keys are braille keys, corresponding to each raised dot producing braille. This allows users to enter characters by mainly using these keys. One of the great advantages of this keyboard allocation is that users can use their personal computers just like they are using a Brailler. This keyboard complies with the standard USB specification. Therefore, users can use off-the-shelf Screen Reader and braille editing software. |
