| Abstract(in English) | By reviewing research projects and their outcomes made hitherto by the author's research group with respect to coherent communication aids for the handicapped that include voice screening for detecting laryngeal cancer, aids for learning esophageal speech, improvement of voice quality of esophageal speech utterance, development of a pitch-controllable electrolarynx, the author points out the importance of research and development of coherent communication aids for the handicapped. He also urges young researchers to participate in these attractive research areas. |
