| 抄録(和) | 本研究では,近年のコンピュータ史研究の動向に基づき,従来の技術史や産業史では扱われなかったビジネスモデル形成の史的展開に注目する.特に,初のアプリケーションソフトウェア販売企業であるPersonal Software社(のちのVisiCorp社)に注目し,そのビジネスモデル確立過程においてビジネススクールの手法,コンピュータゲーム市場,そしてホビイスト集団が果たした役割を検証する.そしてソフトウェア企業がビジネスモデルを確立する際の社会的技術的条件を明らかにするとともに,パーソナルコンピュータ産業において新たな産業構造への転換が起こった要因を解明する新たな視点を示す. |
| 抄録(英) | This paper focuses the historical development of the business model of software company, which is ignored by the history of technology, based on the resent study of the history of computing. The historical process of development of Personal Software (later VisiCorp), the first software publisher, shows the important roles of the computer game market, business school approach, and hobbyist groups. From historical viewpoint, finally we discuss about the condition of the social and technological environment for the new field of software and new business model for software company. |
